This company is a Spain based entity engaged in the purchase, trade, extraction and refining of olive and other seed oils. It incorporates several companies operating in the food manufacturing sector, and has specialized in the refining and marketing of olive oil, seeds oil and olive pomace oil, since its foundation forty years ago. The finished products which the company has been selling for more than four decades include Refined olive oil, 1degree olive oil, Virgin olive oil and Extra Virgin olive oil. The concept of the company as a fully integrated operation goes from seed to finished product: the company cultivates several different seed varieties, and markets sunflower seeds both for sowing and for sunflower meal for animal feed. It has a network of partners spread throughout all the main olive oil and sunflower seed producing and consuming countries. The company runs an extensive farm on the best dry land in the city of Espera (near Jerez de la Frontera, province of Cadiz) where several varieties of seed, especially sunflower seed, are cultivated. The company has also a modern sunflower meal mills with a railway siding and loading bay. Its La Luisiana Factory was the fist refinery of olive pomace oil in the world.
